Matt has served as President of the Home Improvement Writer’s Association and was awarded that association’s Golden Hammer in 2007 for writing excellence.

Hal Jones, Online Media Director for Extreme How-To. Hal has been with EHT since 2006. Hal is our webmaster and IT specialist. Hal is also the sole contributor to our Extreme How-To blog and is also a frequent contributor to the editorial content of both magazine and website. Hal is also an expert remodeler and handyman.

Extreme How-To magazine reaches the most prolific audience of homebuilders, remodelers, and heavy duty diyer’s in the industry. The print version of our magazine is published 9 times annually with a readership of 50,000 subscribers. The magazine is also distributed nationally and in Canada through various newsstand outlets and home store chains. Each issue is also published in digital format and emailed to our database of over 2 million email addresses. We also publish 3 “digital only” editions annually. These issues include our Summer, Fall, and Holiday editions. Our website, extremehowto.com , has over 200,000 visits per month with over 500,000 page views. Our site is a “go to” source on the web for home improvement, remodeling, and construction projects. The site is currently undergoing renovation and will be launched with a new look and format by January 2012.
